• The Severn Way PROW proceeds north past Tewkesbury on the left bank of the River Severn past the Mythe Waterworks until the Mythe Bridge, when it transfers to the right bank of the Severn in Worcestershire. I cannot see how one gets from the footpath south of the bridge to the road across the bridge (A438) in order to rejoin the footpath north of the bridge. The only way seems to be to walk under the bridge past the Toll House and turn right to get to the A38 and then A435. But the owner of the Toll House has allowed his fenced garden to extend to the top of the river bank, apparently claiming he has permission to do this. If this is correct, why did GCC allow this without a diversion to keep the Severn Way continuous?
