The two drains outside th entrance to St Georges Church overflow every time there is heavy rain. The water then runs down the Church path and into the porch. I have to put sand bags on the path to divert the flow.. As I have reported before the problem is not that the drain is blocked BUT THAT the outflow into the main drain and ditch alongside the drive infront of Brook House is the problem.

The small yellow arrow GCC sign has been removed/covered by Ruskin Mill permissive footpath signage. This is misleading as the drive that the present sign is on is a public footpath as indicated by the footpath sign further back. There used to be a GCC yellow arrow to clarify that the public could use the drive w(this does not need Ruskin Mill’s permission) . It is only the footpath from the fishery lakes to the cafe that is permissive. The sign will put the public off using the drive.
