A great length of elevated kerb stones have been loosened by vehicles mounting the pavement. These have been progressively but poorly repaired over the years resulting in unsightly workmanship. The repairs also do not prevent vehicles mounting the pavement and so wear and tear of the pavement and kerb persists with the added hazard of pedestrians stumbling into the road. The whole path needs resurfacing and the kerb line restored together with bollards at the bottom of Bull Pitch to prevent vehicles mounting the path.

Water street suffers repeated appearance of potholes that have been poorly repaired over the years resulting in an unsightly and very uneven road surface. Over a length of 100m there must be about 200 pothole repairs with repairs being made 2 or 3 times a year. This road serves a public car park and numerous private porperties. This road requires investigation for the cause of repeated potholes and properly resurfacing.
