• There is a tree on the path behind Chesterton Grove (on Somerford Road) which is now very tall. If it should fall down it is likely to hit houses on Chesterton Grove. I understand trees should be inspected regularly and therefore ask it is(if not done recently). I think it probably needs height trimming. Also branches have fallen off into my neighbours garden over time.

• I have previously reported that there is a problem with the the lamp on the first lamp post in the Maples, off Craniums Lane, Cirencester. I advised you that the light is completely hidden by the foliage on the large tree. Either all the offending branches need cutting off the tree or the lamp post needs moving away from the tree. You have just emailed me confirming the ‘repair’ has been carried out. Your men have NOT dealt with the problem; the street light remains hidden! I don’t understand how you could say the necessary work has been carried out.
