These lights should only go red when a pedestrian is crossing. Turning left off of Gloucester road on to Whittington road lights turn red when traffic is coming out of Telstar way, which doesn't affect Whittington road. Causing a lot of unnecessary car idling

Traffic Island is damaged due to vehicles driving into it. Island is badly designed/located/marked. Markings - this island is the only traffic island in Grovefield Way with white lane markings aligned directly with kerbstones (see photo for comparison with preceding island) Natural flow of road leads directly into kerbstone of traffic island, see photo for cars taking up the very right hand part of traffic lane (of an observed sample of 10 cars, 9 took a similar position going past island or were closer). Super elevation of road throws cars towards centre of road.
