Road closed for no reason

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9927305.

Road closure on Bentham Lane outside the Elms. This is causing a nuisance as people are diverting up Dog Lane to get to the 270 climbing centre. This a single track lane with passing places only. The main issue is there is NO need to close this short stretch of Bentham Lane because the 'work' has been undertaken on the verge and therefore not impinging on the carriageway at all
