Court Road junction to Roman Way near paddock, Brockworth

There are traffic lights to control traffic on Court Road. Someone has put a diversion notice onto Roman Way, which is completely unnecessary, incorrectly advising motorists to take an alternative route to Perry Brook. Roman Way has no pavements and is used a lot by pedestrians, allotment holders and cyclists. There is no speed limit and cars were speeding through Roman way at 70 mph finding it funny that there were people walking and refused to give way to pedestrians so people were coerced into the stinger nettles, ignoring the blind corers due to overgrown foliage. Please check to ensure you put up a diversion notice, if so, why do this? As motorists we all have to wait at a red traffic light and do not have a diversion? If this is a true diversions, lay down cones along the length of Roman Way on both sides, to ensure pedestrians are not having to walk in the nettles. Ensure rights of way notices are giving to pedestrians leaving through the many gates along Roman Way, as this is no longer safe for pedestrians. Otherwise this will encourage a serious accident to happen
