Deep hole next to property boundary
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9429055.
Gas works recently performed on the pavement next to 55 Stanford Road. A hole has since appeared and is growing deeper. The hole is adjacent to the driveway of 55 Stanford Road. The gas works we’re taking place over November/December of 2025 and the hole appeared in January 2026 and has been growing in size since.

This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.
If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.

It does not currently meet our criteria for an urgent repair but we will monitor the issue in our routine inspections.
