Lorries / buses driving on grass verge since changes to double yellow lines

Grass verge outside 91 Gretton Road
Since changes to double yellow lines cars have parked further up Gretton Road. Now lorries / buses coming up Gretton Road on the wrong side seem to be driving on grass verge to pass waiting queue of oncoming cars. The road is narrow here. Could the double yellow lines be extended to help avoid this?
