Tree is damaged problem
Reported in the Tree is damaged category by Gloucestershire County Council at 09:51, Tuesday 10 February 2026
FixMyStreet ref: 8882475.
We were pleased to see the specific damage, that I highlighted, to the tree was attended to, some months ago. On the day of the on site work, I spoke to the team who did the work, who said that someone would return to complete the pollarding of the tree. and of neighbouring tree/trees. That pollarding has not happened. During October we have experienced two further, separate, instances of a branch being brought down from that same tree. One of those incidents damaged our back wall. I can forward photos of those two branches if that would be of use. Also, during their visit the team said that a tree to the right, as we look from our house, would also be pollarded. No work on that tree has yet happened. When will these trees be attended to, please? I remain concerned that both ourselves, and our property, and the property of our neighbours and the neighbours themselves, are at risk of damage/harm, (amounting to affecting, potentially, four properties) because of the size of these two trees and their relative proximity to our properties.
