This footpath runs directly through a farmers yard then across there fields.. As I was walking through the farm yard they have a nasty dog roaming free to seem to put you off walking through... once past that obstacle all the styles are broken and dangerous to use.. one is so overgrown with brambles that it's usable which forces you of the footpath towards the gate which is kindly covered with barbwire.. The farm in question is at Epney opposite The Anker Pub.. something needs sorting out about this as the farmer there is very rude and not nice at all.. they clearly don't like having a footpath through there properly.. This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.
If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
An update on the issue will be provided.
