Before cattle grid and after many potholes

As above the whole area is a mess of potholes that have been badly repaired and keep coming back it is a dangerous area and needs a swift and a proper permanent repair this problem has been going on for years why waste money bodging the job wasting money when a proper resurfacing of the area would save money and end this problem once and for all

  • Thank you for reporting a pothole.

    First, a safety inspector will visit the location to assess whether a repair needs to be completed and plan the work needed. Works are prioritised based on the urgency of the situation. The council aim to repair all significant potholes (more than 4cm deep and 30cm wide) within 28 days.

    In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
