Dangerous road, ramps, uneven surface
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8739524.
Whole stretch of road extremely dangerous due to uneven surfaces, numerous potholes, ramps, leaning camber. My HGVs have both had substantial damage to them on this road and my catering trailer has had thousands of pounds worth of damage done to it because of the road shaking it to pieces, hitting potholes and the vehicles going over numerous ramps and bumps in the road. As a main route to the M5 it needs urgently resurfacing, not patching up.

Thank you for reporting a pothole.
First, a safety inspector will visit the location to assess whether a repair needs to be completed and plan the work needed. Works are prioritised based on the urgency of the situation. The council aim to repair all significant potholes (more than 4cm deep and 30cm wide) within 28 days.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.

This pothole report has now been passed to the Safety Inspection Team for assessment.
A safety inspector will make an assessment of the work needed and they will consider a number of factors, including the flow of traffic and the size of the pothole.
If repair work is required, the pothole will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible. We aim to complete the repair work within 28 days.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
An update on the outcome of the safety inspection will be provided.
