Extreme damage by Open Reach operators
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8730734.
The verge has been destroyed by heavy vehicles from Open Reach causing renewed flooding. I discussed this with staff there and they agreed they would rectify the damage and replant the grass verge once they’ve completed their works. Can you hold them to this commitment?

We will investigate the issue. If additional clearance work is needed, the local highways team will prioritise the most urgent reports. Where possible, maintenance tasks will be grouped together in a schedule for efficiency.
Sometimes during periods of heavy rain, even a clear gully can be overwhelmed. Usually the water will drain away within an hour.
