Reported via desktop in the A pothole in road category anonymously at 16:05, Thursday 15 January 2026

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8695466.

Road as you turn into Gotherington fields white wall round Four Winds GL52 9SB road collapsing into lay-by opposite this property. Then next to Four Winds property as you turn up a private drive way to Grasson and The Patch the road had a big pot hole in it could be as deeper than golf ball and definitely rounded than a dinner plate. Other pot holes as you go up the road.

Updates

  • Thank you for reporting a pothole.

First, a safety inspector will visit the location to assess whether a repair needs to be completed and plan the work needed. Works are prioritised based on the urgency of the situation. The council aim to repair all significant potholes (more than 4cm deep and 30cm wide) within 28 days.

In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.

We will provide updates about this report.

On our website you can read about five key actions we’re taking to strengthen the county’s roads. Visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/highways/roads/potholes to find out more.
