Blocked rain gully drain
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8493559.
The drain on the pavement out side the old post office Eastington GL10 3AA on the road towards the clay pits. This drain is still blocked despite being told that it has been cleared.
The blocked drain has caused water to enter our property, crossways cottage GL10 3AA.

We will investigate the issue. If additional clearance work is needed, the local highways team will prioritise the most urgent reports. Where possible, maintenance tasks will be grouped together in a schedule for efficiency.
Sometimes during periods of heavy rain, even a clear gully can be overwhelmed. Usually the water will drain away within an hour.
