Concrete post dumped on path causing trip hazard
Reported via desktop in the Obstruction caused by fence category by Susan Fenton at 15:23, Tue 25 November 2025
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8463892.
Public footpath from Bisley Rd to Bisley Old Road. https://what3words.com/ juggle.pods.chins
Long, heavy concrete post lying on the ground on this footpath. It is near the side of the path but still presents a potential trip hazard for people walking in the dark. This was reported to me (local cllr) a week or so ago. Also, fallen leaves make this steep path very slippery – could some leaf clearance be done? In addition, could you consider providing more lighting in the lower part of the path (nearest Bisley Road) as a) the path is very dark to navigate at night and b) a resident has reported seeing men taking drugs on the path. This was reported to police but I feel more lighting might be a deterrent for antisocial behaviour.
