Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8453955.

Following on from the lane flooding on 17/11/2025 yet another vehicle succumbed to the flood waters here. This occurred before the flip sign had been changed to close the lane. The vehicle entered the water’s blindly due to it being dark & no reference of how deep it was. Ideally there would be another Road closed sign & Depth Gauge at this location. Yes there are two depth gauges all my the lane but they are in totally the wrong locations (You’d have to go through a fair distance of flood waters before reading them by which time it would be too late) How many more motorists who hit flood waters before there’s a fatality?
