The 98 bus stop at Chargrove Lane is very dangerous, there is no pavement to step onto, just a narrow verge of brambles, mud and nettles. Somebody will slip and fall under the bus

Reported via desktop in the Other bus stop/shelter issue category anonymously at 10:13, Fri 17 October 2025

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8307050.

The location is just past the entrance to Chargrove Lane on the way to Gloucester. I am pleased to have this new bus service, but it is extremly dangerous for anyone who is unsteady on their feet who might hold on to the side of the bus to steady themselves. Urgent attention is needed before a serious accident happens

Updates

  • Vegetation has been cut back when the stop originally came into use.

A hardstanding, bus stop pole and dropped kerb have been requested. This will be undertaken by our contractors.
