Double yellow lines needed for children safety
Reported via mobile in the General road markings, lines and stud issues category anonymously at 19:58, Friday 10 October 2025
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8280767.
There is a park which is very popular with children on new orchard Avenue, the part of new orchard Avenue that goes towards the roundabout should have double yellow lines! Lots of cars are parking there and cars fly down that road. Without having visual access to the park (because of the parked cars) I have seen several cars almost pull out on children playing! It’s very dangerous and an accident waiting to happen. A park being very near a busy road (which it now is since the road block has been opened) should not have cars restricting the view!
