Road / cycle path design change

Reported via desktop in the Timings are incorrect category anonymously at 09:48, Fri 3 October 2025

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8247057.

Northbound Evesham Road crossroads on A435. Particularly turning right from town centre onto Wellington Road is the issue. As per my photos this used to be two lanes here for left/straight and right. This is now not wide enough for two lanes and if anyone is waiting to turn right vehicles behind cannot pass to go left or straight on. All of this I assume is due to the cycle path changes which is completely unnecessary on this side of the road. My suggestion is either the cycle time on the lights need changing because only two cars got through turning right leaving the D bus behind me waiting for next cycle or a filter right only green light needs adding at the end of the cycle. Clearly a car driver has not tested this change out and has simply only considered the needs of cyclists!
