Badly-worn yellow box junction markings
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7868154.
Why is maintaining the box junction markings here in good condition not a top priority? Moreton-in-Marsh's ambulance and fire stations are located in Parkers Lane and most of the firefighters are on call, so need to be able to get into Parkers Lane quickly, before they can get out with the fire engine. On a section of road as prone to tailbacks forming as Stow Road, leaving these markings in this state is not good enough - even a short delay here waiting for queuing traffic to get out of the way could be the difference between life and death.

This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.
If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.

It does not currently meet our criteria for an urgent repair but we will monitor the issue in our routine inspections.
