Newly installed cycle crossing cancels button press if bike is stopped in line with button

Reported via desktop in the Crossing push buttons not working category anonymously at 20:55, Tuesday 10 June 2025

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7690910.

The first cycle crossing between Escourt Roundabout and Longlevens - the sensor above the traffic light needs to be positioned to cover the area close to the cycle button, not just behind the stop line which is placed too far back to allow the button to be pressed.
