Footbridge has been vandalised
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7660748.
It appears that someone has tried to destroy the footbridge. They have lit a fire on the bridge in what appears to be an attempt to destroy it. They have also broken the wooden spar at the front of the bridge and broken down the way marker post and thrown them in the stream. Without attention this bridge could become quite dangerous

This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.
If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
An update on the issue will be provided.
