Sign/waymarker is damaged problem
FixMyStreet ref: 7596235.
The public right of way reference SM 1 is officially listed as a bridleway and shown as such on your rights of way online map. On the ground, however, it has a fingerpost in Forest View Road showing it to be a public footpath. Could you clarify what this right of way actually is, and if it is now a public footpath perhaps the definitive map needs to be updated?

This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.
If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
An update on the issue will be provided.
