Overgrown trees & undergrowth

Footpath behind Church Lane is not being maintained by GAA Gloucester Angling Assoc. which owns the fishing rights on Gardeners Pool. They "re-opened" footpath which had been unused for years, put up fence & planted "boundary trees". The trees & undergrowth are now overgrown, especially at the east end of the path where it emerges onto Church Lane, but the fishing club do not maintain at all. Whole length needs cutting/maintaining. Trees are now tall & blocking sunlight.

This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.
If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
An update on the issue will be provided.
