The drain is blocked problem

Customer reports that the gutters are full of muck and they are not taking the water away. This is causing the road surface to deteriorate. They have said they have been out there today and cleared a lot of it from near "The Bungalow" they would like someone to determine who is responsible for keeping these gutters clear.

We will investigate the issue. If additional clearance work is needed, the local highways team will prioritise the most urgent reports. Where possible, maintenance tasks will be grouped together in a schedule for efficiency.
Sometimes during periods of heavy rain, even a clear gully can be overwhelmed. Usually the water will drain away within an hour.
