SUGGESTION : To add an arrowed lane control sign ?
Reported via desktop in the The sign is illegible category by Nat Reed at 12:09, Tuesday 12 November 2024
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6722377.
Hello, would you consider *adding* an arrowed lane control sign on Kayte lane, approaching GE traffic lights, from Southam ? The approach lane splits into two lanes, with the left lane **only going left**, and with the painted lane control arrows fairly close to the lights, and of there's traffic queueing and obscuring them, it's very difficult / impossible to determine which lane to be in on approach. As a driving instructor, I'd teach 'default left to go ahead', but in this case it only goes left. Like Gloucester Road (Dean Close School), there are two 'left only' signs on approach where the road lanes split. Many thanks ! Nat (Churchdown driving instructor)
