Missing Parking limitations sign
Reported via desktop in the The sign is illegible category anonymously at 22:52, Thursday 7 November 2024
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6707619.
The sign showing parking limitations for the 2 spaces outside the old Police station, which used to be mounted below the hospital sign has been removed and missing for several months. These spaces have now been pretty much taken over by a family living next to the bay who swap around their own vehicles around in order to keep the 1 hour ltd parking bay spaces for themselves.Without the signs they are able park 24 hours a day in with no risk of penalty as the signage is missing. This is taking out two valuable spaces in Barton street with no one else able to park for short periods as intended, which is vital for local businesses.
