Dangerous or intimidating animals problem
FixMyStreet ref: 6700720.
Customer states that they were recently involved in an incident where, whilst walking their dog, it was attacked by 2 dogs from a nearby property that are allowed to roam on the PROW. States that this is not the first time this has happened, there have also been incidents of these dogs approaching and worrying horses and riders using the bridleway. Customer reported this most recent incident to the police (log: 300-02/11/2024) who have contacted the animal owner directly to discuss the issue. Police also advised customer to contact highways.

This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.
If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
An update on the issue will be provided.
