Temporary Crossing In Possibly Dangerous State

Reported via desktop in the Traffic light head is facing wrong direction category anonymously at 11:11, Monday 28 October 2024

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6666619.

Could you attend to the pedestrian crossing on Grovefield Way near the junction with North Road West as soon as possible please.

The crossing has failed and been replaced with a temporary crossing. For some reason the temporary crossing lights facing into traffic have been withdrawn from the road and pointed outwards but yet the unit remains switched on. This means you can press the crossing button but the traffic will never be stopped. It might be possible for the green man to appear without indicating to the traffic that it should stop.
