Side of road is being eroded by surface water dropping into ditch. There is now an issue where there is an unmarked drop in excess of 300mm right on the edge of road

The problem has always been there but has become more prominent with excessive rain in recent times. The issue is on the left hand side of the Beckford Road as you leave Alderton towards Beckford - adjacent to the electricity pylon. Location by what3words is:- hairstyle.refilled.purified.

Sometimes during periods of heavy rain, even a clear gully can be overwhelmed. Usually the water will drain away within an hour.
