Loose/rattling cover/ironwork problem
Reported in the Loose/rattling cover/ironwork category by Gloucestershire County Council at 10:19, Thu 19 September 2024
FixMyStreet ref: 6623203.
Dear Sir/Madam
I would like to request a road run off survey for a drain which the village residents understand to be collapsed.
As we all experience extreme and regular flooding during heavy rain episodes, it would be sensible to do this now, during a dry spell.
I would appreciate your consideration and understanding and hope to hear from you very soon.
Sincerely
This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.
If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
An update on the issue will be provided.
