Loose/rattling cover/ironwork problem
FixMyStreet ref: 6560259.
Customer reporting that surface water drainage on property is backing up and flooding land. Has had a contractor attend, who inspected and believes that the blockage is in the highways drainage that the property connects to. Customer asking if manhole cover at location can be lifted and drainage inspected for blockages (contractor was unable to lift manhole cover by hand)

Should the issue pose an immediate danger to public safety such as:-
•Objects on the highway network (i.e. a fallen tree)
•Faulty temporary or permanent traffic lights (i.e. stuck on red)
•Exposed cables
•Multiple street lighting faults
•Flooded roads

This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.
If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
