Gully full on low spot in road

Alder close just off oxstalls lane. Again gully is full and over spilling on to drive way. Main carrier drain oxstalls appears full as water boiling up through manhole chamber. Gully on Low spot underwater several hours after rain.

    Sometimes during periods of heavy rain, even a clear gully can be overwhelmed. Usually the water will drain away within an hour.

    Every gully or drain the county council is responsible for is cleared at least once each year. Some drains in problem areas are cleared more frequently.
