Pothole in the road, wide and quite deep.
Reported via desktop in the A pothole in road category anonymously at 18:12, Wednesday 2 October 2024
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6544265.
The bigger pothole is located on the road in front of number 8 and number 9. However, there are pot holes all over Ansell Close, I know they are tarmacking Caernarvon road, can it be possible to get the Ansell close done. There are multiple pot holes all bigger than dinner plates. Road is in such poor condition now. Its ruining our cars and makes the road look ugly and run down.

Thank you for reporting a pothole.
First, a safety inspector will visit the location to assess whether a repair needs to be completed and plan the work needed. Works are prioritised based on the urgency of the situation. The council aim to repair all significant potholes (more than 4cm deep and 30cm wide) within 28 days.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
We will provide updates about this report.
On our website you can read about five key actions we’re taking to strengthen the county’s roads. Visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/highways/roads/potholes to find out more.

This pothole report has now been passed to the Safety Inspection Team for assessment.
A safety inspector will make an assessment of the work needed and they will consider a number of factors, including the flow of traffic and the size of the pothole.
If repair work is required, the pothole will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible. We aim to complete the repair work within 28 days.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
An update on the outcome of the safety inspection will be provided.
