Various deep potholes

In this general area of Overton Lane there are numerous potholes appearing, some getting quite deep and likely to cause damage to vehicles.

  • Thank you for reporting a pothole.

    First, a safety inspector will visit the location to assess whether a repair needs to be completed and plan the work needed. Works are prioritised based on the urgency of the situation. The council aim to repair all significant potholes (more than 4cm deep and 30cm wide) within 28 days.

    In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
