Multiple deepening potholes and generally poor road surface.

Multiple deepening potholes. This area needs proper patching - individual pothole bodging for the last few years has just made the problem worse & the road surface is now very poor in this area.

  • Thank you for reporting a pothole.

    First, a safety inspector will visit the location to assess whether a repair needs to be completed and plan the work needed. Works are prioritised based on the urgency of the situation. The council aim to repair all significant potholes (more than 4cm deep and 30cm wide) within 28 days.

    In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
