Bricks displacement

Reported via desktop in the A pothole in road category anonymously at 09:54, Sunday

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6528571.

Hi, i report this not so long ago and you repaired kerbs however the main problem is the bricks. They have moved and sunken in places giving you a hard bang if you hit it. It is really difficult to avoid due to the road going down to single carriageway. I get it will not be a 10 minute repair but it does need sorting. Maybe to tarmac it all instead!

  • Thank you for reporting a pothole.

First, a safety inspector will visit the location to assess whether a repair needs to be completed and plan the work needed. Works are prioritised based on the urgency of the situation. The council aim to repair all significant potholes (more than 4cm deep and 30cm wide) within 28 days.

In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.

We will provide updates about this report.
