Significant pavement subsidence and significant trip hazard
Reported via iOS in the A pothole in pavement category anonymously at 11:04, Monday 23 September 2024
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6503349.
The pavement outside 7 Naunton Lane has subsided significantly. This has resulted in a significant depression that regularly collects water and I am extent that requires people to step into a busy road to avoid it. This issue is exacerbated by prominent curb stones (as a result of the subsidence) which represents a significant trip hazard. It is a serious safety issue as a pedestrian is likely to trip on the curb stone into the busy road which, at this point, is on a corner with sub-optimal visibility. There are a number of elderly residents that live along this street, several with impaired mobility, for whom the puddle and trip hazard represent a significant safety risk.
