Suken tarmac around manhole cover needs levelling

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6499559.

See photos of how the rain demonstrates the sunken tarmac path. Recent rain is causing pedestrians to walk around the water close to the road. Location is opposite lamp post No.15. on the Hatherley Way, just down from the Chargrove Lane ,Cheltenham, junction. Note there is only one path on this busy road.

  • This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.

    If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.

    In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.

    An update on the issue will be provided.
