Danger to cyclists

Reported via mobile in the General road marking and stud issues category anonymously at 11:46, Tue 17 September 2024

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6481005.

Junction of Barbican Way and Barbican Road Cyclists cycle down Barbican road but there is no stop sign or road sign on Barbican Way and now that there is access to the new student accommodation buildings cars have started to drive across Barbican Road without realising that it is actually a road and it is difficult for them to see because of the high wall on the corner.

I've seen a car reverse into the Barbican Road, I think people think it is a dead end.

The cyclists and pedestrians on Barbican Road have right of way, I fear there will be an accident if this is not made clear through signage or road markings.

Many thanks Helena
