FixMyStreet ref: 6468659.
Hello,
My wife, a careful driver, was driver to work yesterday morning and hit a pothole cause the rear right tyre to burst… you can see the impact site below. The pot hole could t be avoided due to incoming traffic.
I’ve included pics of location, damage, and receipt cover the cost of repair. I’ve been informed this money can be claimed back.
Please let me know how to proceed?
Work to repair this pothole has been planned. Work is usually completed within 28 days or sooner.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
We will let you know when the work is complete.

I am pleased to inform you this pothole has been repaired.
Gloucestershire County Council is responsible for almost 6,000km of roads and each one is routinely inspected (on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis, depending on the type of road). Issues can develop quickly in between these inspections and residents help by reporting problems online.
Our longer term plans to improve road conditions include patching, resurfacing and maintenance works, information can be found online at www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/highways.
Thank you,
