Very large pothole, which is grounding cars and making the road and access to properties impassable

Hi, There is a very large pothole which is grounding cars and restricting access to 3 properties and requires very urgent attention. The addresses that are affected are in Tunley - our house, Tunley Court and my neighbours at The Thatched Cottage and The Old Chapel. The postcode is GL7 6LW.
The postcode covers a very long lane - over a mile long, so specifically the GPS coordinates for Google maps are: 51.739140, -2.098593 and the What3Words are beads.tubes.tent
Please could we get this resolved? It's making life quite difficult - and really damaging cars and tyres.

Thank you for reporting a pothole.
First, a safety inspector will visit the location to assess whether a repair needs to be completed and plan the work needed. Works are prioritised based on the urgency of the situation. The council aim to repair all significant potholes (more than 4cm deep and 30cm wide) within 28 days.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.

A safety inspector will make an assessment of the work needed and they will consider a number of factors, including the flow of traffic and the size of the pothole.
If repair work is required, the pothole will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible. We aim to complete the repair work within 28 days.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
An update on the outcome of the safety inspection will be provided.

I am pleased to inform you this pothole has been repaired.
Gloucestershire County Council is responsible for almost 6,000km of roads and each one is routinely inspected (on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis, depending on the type of road). Issues can develop quickly in between these inspections and residents help by reporting problems online.
