Incorrect signage for Cheltenham Rd Closure (again)
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6463125.
The signs on elm bridge court advertise that Cheltenham road east is closed at Heathdean and to follow the diversion, the diversion takes you around to the hare and hounds which is where there closure actually is. As a resident of St Johns Avenue this meant driving up and down the A40 twice due to the incorrect signage. This is the 2nd time during these resurfacing works reporting incorrect signage for residents and 3rd time in the last year

This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.
If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
