Sustained damage problem
Reported via Open311 in the Sustained damage category by Gloucestershire County Council at 11:44, Wednesday 11 September 2024
FixMyStreet ref: 6460974.
10/09/24 email rcvd (full trail attached) ::: It has come to my attention that Two Bollards on the West Side of Cirencester Parish Church, Gosditch Street have been replaced and locked and the keys
have not been placed in the care of the Parish Church.
Why this has been done is beyond belief. This will cause the Parish Church clergy and yourselves major problems when conducting Funerals. We are unable to use the South Door of the Church The Market place entrance on Monday & Friday’s because of the market. Plus parking for Thanksgiving Services & interment of cremated remains in the Garden of Remembrance in the Churchyard of the Parish church.
The keys to the bollards have always been controlled be the Parish Church and as worked well and as not caused any problems.
Could you both look into this please as it is and will cause problems for us parking in a town that is becoming more and more parking restricted .
Kind regards
