Tree is damaged problem
Reported via Open311 in the Tree is damaged category by Gloucestershire County Council at 15:30, Thursday 15 August 2024
FixMyStreet ref: 6361159.
Dear Andrew,
I was given your name by the Cheltenham tree surgeon who told me that your department is responsible for pruning all public trees on pavements in Cheltenham. etc.
There is an enormous tree near 8 Selkirk St ( which has a TPO on it) but which has grown massively in the last 10 years. I have taken several pictures from my garden (Larkspur House, Pittville Circus) to show how it is now impacting the light which I receive into my garden - especially in late Summer when the sun begins to drop behind it.
I would be very grateful if you could have a look at it and even grateful if you would consider pruning its enormous crown. Perhaps, if this is just a matter of finding the appropriate funds, I could make a contribution to the cost of this.
I look forward to your reply and will try now to attach the photos which I have taken - pictures often being more valuable than words.Apologies I will send a picture later!
Kind regards,
