Overgrown verge obstructs vision
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6354257.
The vegetation overgrown on the side of the main road obstructs the vision when exiting from Church Walk. The attached picture shows the situation as viewed from a car driver's side window. The vegetation needs to be cut down so that there is visibility to the right of the communication box. Several times now, I have attempted to pull out of the junction and experienced 'near misses' as vehicles suddenly appear from the hidden road. This undergrowth has been overgrowing for some time but the situation has been exacerbated by the recently installed communication box.

This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.
If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
An update on the issue will be provided.
