Dangerous horses
Reported via mobile in the Dangerous or intimidating animals category anonymously at 18:09, Tuesday 13 August 2024
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6352188.
I was kicked by a horse on the public footpath near this farm today. The map shows where we escaped to avoid the horses after the incident. It was an entirely unprovoked attack. We were walking through the field on a pu lic footpath when the horses came at us at some speed. They were not deterred by stamping feet at them, waving arms and in the end by people waving sticks at them. I was.kicked on the left buttock as I bent down to let my dog off the lead as is the advice when confronted by dangerous animals. I am lucky it wasn't my head or knees. They continued to chase us even after the dog had got out of the field along with three of our group. The other photos show where the horse kicked me, and the farm signage when we reached the road.
