Using public footpath as driveway

Reported via mobile in the Path/Way misused by unlawful users category anonymously at 20:04, Friday 9 August 2024

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6338060.

The small lane next to Goreway Cottage that runs down to the river Severn.

Is an issue in last month when lane got gravelled over and became a road, from previously being a mud footpath.

Now people in Saul Lodge house using it as a driveway because of their own driveway dispute.

It is a public footpath and there has been no change of use as per planning records, and there is no right of way for those using it as a driveway. It is distrburing neighbours and dog walkers using it for this purpose illegally.

The mirror in the photo shows people are using it as a driveway, as they had to put this up to help traffic pull out the junction.
